The TCRC MWED bargaining committee and executive board would like to announce that the ballots were counted today and 85% were in favour of the new agreement. In the secondary ballot regarding the changing of the general holiday, the members voted 53% in favour of keeping January 2nd as the General holiday.

The TCRC MWED executive board would like to extend their thanks to all that took the time and voted. There are a number of commitments within the agreement that will commence immediately and more news will be forthcoming on these issues.
